Mac Alarms Ltd has an accredited 24×7 Alarm Response Centre conveniently located in CityWest providing monitoring services for fire and intruder alarms for residential and commercial customers across Ireland. Both CCTV feeds and alarm systems are monitored centrally from this state-of-the-art facility.

WHY MONITOR?
The more important question is can you afford not to have your home or premises monitored? If there is an intruder or if a fire has started, you cannot rely on passers-by or neighbours to protect your home or business. Having monitoring means you have the peace-of-mind that your property is being looked after 24 hours a day.

HOW MONITORING WORKS
Most monitoring is done by dialler over phone lines, but direct leased line signalling is available, as is the exclusive Mac Alarms ‘Radio Link’ which is independent of phone lines, and provides a secure method of signalling by radio from almost any location on the Republic.

MONITORING FOR THE ELDERLY
Mac Alarms Ltd offers an extremely affordable monitoring service for elderly individuals for only €1 per week. The elderly person carries a pendant (around the neck or handheld) and in the event of an issue can activate the alarm on their pendant. This is monitored 24 x 7 by our monitoring station providing peace of mind to the elderly person and their family.

MAC ALARMS ‘RADIO LINK’ / GSM BACKUP
We maintain a network of secure radio receivers / transmitters and GSM diallers covering all the Republic of Ireland. These are used to transmit alarm activation signals in parallel with the telephone signals in parallel unit the telephone signal. This is essential in high-risk situation or where the telephone line is vulnerable to damage or faults. On receipt of alarm or system fault signals the ARC will call the Garda, key holders or maintenance staff as arranged.
